Do you have an idea for a business that will address a social problem? Do you need help to create a plan to see it thrive? If so, please join us at Scadding Court Community Centre on Nov. 24 and at Ryerson University on Dec. 8 for a Social Venture Idea Consultation.
At this two-day workshop facilitated by the Ryerson Social Ventures Zone, participants will work through the Social Business Canvas Methodology, develop an initial canvas and gain feedback from experienced coaches in a round-table setting.
This is a free event, open to youth between the ages of 18-35 who are in the early stage of developing a social enterprise and who are committed to operating in the Greater Toronto Area. Advance registration is required.
The Social Venture Idea Consultation is co-hosted by Ryerson University’s Office of the Vice President, Research and Innovation and the Ryerson SocialVentures Zone. It is supported by the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation through the RECODE at Ryerson project and the Province of Ontario through the Social Enterprise Demonstration Fund at Ryerson University.
